Welcome to the Project Server of the Earth Surface Dynamics group at D-ERDW, ETH Zurich.
This server hosts a number of geology related simulation/modeling projects which are developed here at the geological institute and at other universities.

    Ice is based on the code originally developed by Jean Braun and Jonathan Tomkin. It is now maintained/developed by Frédéric Herman at ETH Zurich. It computes the evolution of ice caps using a shallow ice approximation (SIA) based algorithm as well as fluvial and hillslope erosion, based on the Cascade algorithm....

    Pecube is a finite element code, initially developed by Jean Braun, that solves the heat transfer equation in 3D including the effects of time-varying topography. Its main purpose is to model thermochronological data. The package comes with the Neighbourhood Algorithm for inversion of data....
